Louise Hacker

Louise is one of our sponsored riders. She has been riding since she was about 2 years old. Became a keen member of Sorcy Riding Club, then at the age of 9 started competing at Show Jumping and Eventing.

Unfortunately in 1991 while Eventing for Rodney Powel Louise had a fall which broke her leg in multiple places. After 2 years of her leg being in a cage she was back on a horse competing at Show jumping in 2003.

After giving a demo for the RDA (riding for the disabled) she was aske to join the Para Equestrian Team. This has taken her to France many years in a row first borrowing horses then eventually taking her own.

2011 Louise fell in France on Enrico, one of her own, and broke her leg yet again. She has also lost a finger but continues to compete both nationally and internationally nothing seems to stand in her way for her love of both the horses and the competitions.

Alex Whewall

Full time international event rider based in N.somerset. Alex is an up and coming eventer with a string of 12 event horses, many of which are talented young horses which he hopes to produce through the grades. His top horse Salt and pepper has taken him clear around several 3*s and he hopes to contest his 1st 4* with him next year. Highlights for the 2014 season include, completing Bramham and hartpury 3*. Winning Aldon 1* with chakiris star.
